The men who found their way into all three XIs chosen by our three panelists
With the passing of the month of September, our team in CricMASH chose their all-time XIs with September-born cricketers.
The choices were fairly obvious in most cases.
In batting order, Nos 2, 4, 5, 6, 8,9,10, 11 were the same for all three contributors.
However, the most striking feature of the selections was probably the uniformity with which several celebrated names were left out of all the three XIs.
Here are the teams chosen by the different contributors:
Abhishek Mukhejee
Majid Khan
Chris Gayle
Ian Chappell
Martin Crowe (c)
KS Ranjitsinhji
Johnny Bairstow (wk)
